Mile Deep International has directed its focus to the communities in and around Santiago, Dominican Republic. As we implement our three phases we will continue to work toward the goal of community development and transformation, beginning in the following ways:

1. Raise awareness among community and Church leaders in the Dominican Republic to the available community assets.

2. Develop a network… of community and Church leaders who are committed to deep community change.

3. Train community and Church leaders in Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) philosophy and implementation.

4. Provide tangible resources for Church communities engaged in sustainable Community Development projects.

Steven’s Hope for Children, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Upland, California that assists children and their families during the financially and emotionally challenging time of a child’s extended care and rehabilitation. Through its three programs, “Housing for Hope”, “Fill A Need” and “We Care”, Steven’s Hope has been lessening the burdens of families from California, across the United States and Internationally.
